When to Repair vs. Replace Fascia

Fascia is the wood board behind your gutters that holds them to the house. It's also the first thing to rot when water gets behind a failing gutter system. If you can press your fingernail into the wood and it gives like cork — it's gone. If paint is peeling but the wood is still solid, it can usually be wrapped in aluminum coil instead of replaced. We inspect every fascia run during our gutter estimates. If we find rot, we'll show you exactly what's there and price both options.
